Hah Rownhams that is staffed by the inmates of the local loony bin i reckon, except for one very nice young lady that i used to spend too much time chatting too at night in the filling station, but i saw a bloke with a henry Hoover one day in the restaurant, there was a bread roll on the floor he picked it up with the Hoover it was stuck to the end of the pipe and he spent 5 minutes trying too stuff the bread roll up the pipe

I might be up for that as well, but I've to check with the Wife and kids to see if I'm allowed a pass-out on the day, and I'd be on the BMW if I go.
Gotta go and talk nicely to the wife now.

One other thing - DO NOT BUY the wrist bands on the website. They are no good for getting into the RAF base.

Its gone over 2500 bikes now. People are booking the travel lodge to stay overnight to do the run.

Then they will give a fiver to the charity.

Others are camping overnight and want to organise a Saturday party.

Others want to have a after ride party as well.

Seems kinda wrong somehow when you think what its all about!

Are you sure anyone can use the crossover? I wouldn't fancy an extra 20 miles for the sake of a few hundred yards!

Keef, a much better option would be to get off the M4 at Reading onto the A4 then go through Newbury and Marlborough to Chippenham, then up and across. The A4 is a nice road for bikes once you're through Newbury anyway, and much more relaxing to ride than the M4.

People use the service roads everyday, even I have a few times..

It well known to locals who use them all the time.

Not sure if the police will be happy with hundreds of bikes making that quick left as you come down the slip road.

Will see wot the local word is when the date gets closer

I ride that route going to London / Ace to avoid some of the boring M4.
Loads of bikes will do the same on the day - its well known.

After the event we could visit the Red Lion at Avebury
