I have made some progress on my RD350
I got the cylinders rebored by a Banshee specialist in California. He fit some Banshee forged Wiesco pistons and lightly machined the inner parts of the skirt. The windows on the intake side are a bit wider and longer. Here is one of the rebored cylinders. The porting is going to stay stock.


The top engine case was damaged when a rear wheel plastic sprocket gave way throwing the chain into the engine.


This bike is never going to be stock with some parts being damaged in crashes. I decided to maintain the stock engine cases and just make a steel bracket from a scrap of 18 gauge stainless. It is going to be braced on the side cover by an .08" overlap.

I also decided to keep the honestly gotten patina on the cylinders. If you look between them you can see some the red Georgia clay that was from getting "off road" in a rainy race at Road Atlanta" in 1982. The clay doesn't wash off with detergent and a brush.
